Hi! As most of you know, the Parkersburg Race of Remembrance is on

May 29, 2010. We have a Kid's Fun Run, EF5K Run/Walk, and Ed Thomas

10K.

Last year this event drew 369 participants and required several

volunteers to help everything run smoothly. Adding an additional

event this year to support the Ed Thomas Family Fund and remember a

great local friend and leader to so many of us, will require a good

turn out of volunteers once again this year.

If you could spare some time on Saturday, May 29, 2010, we could

really use you!!! These races are great events to both help our town

and others through the proceeds and donations that go to the Town Pool

Fund and Ed Thomas Family Fund, as well as showcasing our town to the

larger public as a great and fun place to live! (And with a growing

running community to boot!)

So if you can help or have a relative or friend that can, please e-

mail me back and we will get you a job! Your reward will be knowing

you helped your community and a race t-shirt, so let me know your size!
